Ensure that the file format is compatible with QuickBooks Online, @blakedawson79.

 

You can upload your bank statement using these file formats: .csv, .txt, .qbo, or .ofx. Then follow the steps below:

 

  1. From the left menu, hover your mouse over My Apps and choose Accounting.
  2. Select Bank transactions.
  3. Click the Link account dropdown, then choose Upload from file.
  4. Choose Drag and drop or select files, upload the file from your bank, and click Continue.
  5. From the QuickBooks account dropdown, choose the account for the transactions and click Continue.
  6. Match the file columns to QuickBooks fields and click Continue.
  7. Choose the transactions to import, then click Continue again.
  8. Click Yes and then Done.

 

Once done, match and categorize the uploaded transactions to the correct accounts, then reconcile them to ensure accuracy.
