@mark383  Either keep trying, wait a few days, or clear your cache, if only for QB, and log in again.

I have to do so every few months at best or it'll stop me from posting even if I show as signed in; QB's online offerings are deathly allergic to cookies.

We appreciate you for being active here in the Community, Mark. This error occurs if there's an interruption between you and the server.

There are different factors that causes the interruption. It could be:

  • The browser accumulates too much cache.
  • The browser is outdated.
  • The internet connection is intermittent.
  • The server is having a maintenance.

I agree with FishingForAnswers. The most common cause of this error is the accumulated cache. It helps our browsers load pages faster. However, cache interferes program functions to work properly if the browser stores too much of it.

Before we start the troubleshooting, I'd recommend securing a stable internet connection and update your browser.

From there, we can begin the browser troubleshooting. Let's use a private browser because it doesn't store cache. Here are the keyboard shortcuts we can use depending on the browser you're using:

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N

If you can log in to your Community account and respond to a post successfully, we can clear the stored cache on your regular browser. Otherwise, we can use a different browser aside from the one you regularly use.

While we're at it, can we ask what is the concern of the post or thread you're trying to response to? This would also help us know what is the exact issue you're experiencing with QuickBooks prior to the interruption.

Feel free to give us updates so we can further help you in your QuickBooks and Community queries.
