I am unable to change the name of who my contractor payments are coming from. We've changed the name of our business from Hustle with Clark to Moove DJ.

Even though I've changed the name formally on Quickbooks Online and the Merchant account, I'm unable to get the actual email to change.

Hi there, @Bricefclark48.

Changing your business name again will ensure that QuickBooks has recorded your updated name to their system.

There are times when low internet connection prevents some data to be sent from your device to QuickBooks. That's why the sender name in the emails for contractor payments hasn't fully updated to reflect the new business name. To fix this, you'll need to change your public business name or DBA in QBO and your business name in your Merchant Service account again.

If the problem persists, I recommend contacting directly to our QuickBooks Online Payments live support for a private communication with them and to secure your business information. They have the best tools to make sure your business name is updated to everyone you interact with QuickBooks.

You can also consider changing the email address your customers when sending sales forms.

Feel free to leave a reply if you have additional concerns with QBO Payments so we can provide you with the best advice.
