Yes, same with invoices. It doesn't apply any tax at all now. How can these app programmers be so inept? Took an app that was working fine, changes something, yet can't figure out how to put it back the way it was. They charge way too much for this system to fail so badly.
So we went for having to add tax to everything to not being able to tax anything. Thanks for nothing quick books.
Nope I tried that and it didn't make a difference. Once again it has nothing to do with data or the cache. It is always a bug from a botched update.

In the UK here and having the same issue. I believe it’s an update bug. The only tax code available is 5% reduced rate. Even if the invoice is created on the computer, if accessed on the app the tax code resets. It’s a real hassle

I'm happy to see that your app is working again. I appreciate you taking the time to let us know.
Please feel free to reach out to the QuickBooks Community at any time. Take care!
Since I started this thread months ago the app has gone through a number of changes and now seems to be working well. For a little while I would have to refresh data after adding an invoice in order for it to actually show up in recent transactions (required to accept a customer signature). As of last night, that also seems to have been fixed. It's a new invoicing interface that will take some getting used to, but otherwise, all functions are once again working.
Thanks
