I cannot find a way to give permission without giving them access to everything in expenses. How do I create a role where the employee can only access expense claims?

QuickBooks Online Advanced has an exclusive feature that allows you to assign an expense submitter role, which can only access expense claims, @ryan179

Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to Manage users.
  2. Change your employee's by clicking Edit.
  3. Choose Expense submitter under the Roles option.
  4. After making your changes, hit Save.

If you're using QBO Plus and below, you may consider upgrading your subscription to access this feature.
