I've got you covered in configuring your printer for check alignment, Jill.
If you aren't familiar with the steps yet, you can follow the guidelines below. Just ensure that when printing, you use a check formatted for QuickBooks, or you can order compatible checks from Intuit:
- Go to the (+) Create icon and select Print Checks.
- Click Print setup and choose the type of check you are using: Voucher or Standard.
- Select View preview and print sample, then click Print.
- Place the printed sample on top of a blank check and hold it up to the light to check the alignment.
- If it isn't aligned yet, select No, continue setup twice, and drag the grid or manually adjust its position to match the alignment on your sample print.
- Select View preview and print sample, then Print.
- Repeat the same process as needed. Once aligned correctly, select Finish setup.
However, if the sample print is still off, you might need to adjust your printer settings. For complete guidelines, refer to the Troubleshooting printing alignment section in the article: Configure print settings for checks in QuickBooks Online.
