I created custom reports for users by subclasses. The users are not seeing the filter option. How do I give them the filter option?

The users are not accountants.

We can manage your user roles to check if they have the correct access to your QuickBooks account, Michael.

First, let's ensure your users have appropriate access to your account and adjust their roles as needed. If they still cannot see it, you can remove them and then re-add the users to the account. And see if the filter option will show from their end.

  1. Go to the Gear icon, and then select Manage Users.
  2. From the Users section, you can see a search option and find your user who does not have accountant access.
  3. Beside the user's name, you can click Invite and Delete user.
  4. Once done, you can now re-add them again to your account with the appropriate role.

Check out this article if you want to change the primary admin user. Changing the primary admin allows you to delegate tasks to someone more suited for the role, ensuring that accounting and financial management are handled effectively.
