@Joan78 "--I need to get access to my quickbooks that have not been backed up--"
Yeah uh, about that.
I'm going to venture a guess that you do not have access to the old computer.
Hello there, Joan. There are two main methods to access your QuickBooks Desktop account on your new computer: using the Migrator Tool or manually transferring or reinstalling it. I'm here to expand on this below.
Before we proceed, could you please confirm if you still have access to your old computer, as FishingForAnswer inquired? Knowing this will allow us to tailor our guidance more effectively.
Let’s start with using the Migrator Tool. Here are a few prerequisites to check before you begin:

For further details on how the migration tool functions and the steps for the manual method, please refer to the following article: Move or reinstall QuickBooks Desktop to another computer.
If you prefer to manually move just the company files to another computer, this guide will be useful: Move your company files to another computer.
Additionally, you can refer to this article about managing users in the program: Create and manage users and roles in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.
Please return to this thread if you have further questions about setting up your QBDT on the new computer, Joan. We're here to answer them the best we can.
Can you secure any QBW, QBB, or ADR files from your old machine?
Will posted solution work for QB for mac? I have a new computer and want to move my files/program to the new mac. I am using Quickbooks 2019 and it works great! I don't need to download any data etc.
thanks!
The process is slightly different from QuickBooks Desktop for Windows since you're using QuickBooks 2019 for Mac, @sisqdeb.
To start transferring files, ensure to create a backup copy of your current QuickBooks 2019 company file. Then, open your QuickBooks from your PC and create a MAC.qbb file. This is a copy of the QuickBooks Desktop company file that you can restore in QuickBooks for Mac.
After that, if you can still open your QuickBooks on your PC, update QuickBooks to its latest release. Then search QuickBooks on your computer and Run as Administrator. Next, follow the steps outlined below:
Once done, restore the backup copy on your Mac. To do so, I've outlined the steps in numbers:
On top of that, you can also download our 30-day trial to restore the backup copy of your QuickBooks file (2019) if you can't open the backup copy from your new Mac: Download a trial of QuickBooks Desktop.

Did you run QB Desktop 2019 on PC or Mac?
I was using QB for mac 2019 on Mac OS big sur 11.7.10 on M1 MacBook air, trying to get it to work on my MacBook air running sequoia 15.5. I do not want to subscribe or get any other services, I just want to be able to enter my data and do my taxes at the end of the year. Thank you for any help!

You just need to open your QuickBooks file on the old machine and create the backup file. Install QB program on the new machine and restore the backup file. Did you encounter any problem?

I transferred using my time machine backup, and I couldn't open QB on my new computer without agreeing to subscription fees, etc. I did not try backing up my file on my old computer to transfer because I do not want to subscribe.
thanks for helping, I hope there is a way to do this without a purchase.
