Hi there, Victor.

While the budgeting feature is exclusively for QuickBooks Online subscription, you can still track your income and expenses and create budgets manually using spreadsheets. I'm here to provide you more information about this and how you can still achieve budgeting using spreadsheet.

QuickBooks Online is for established businesses needing comprehensive accounting and other features like budgeting, while QBSE simplifies finances for freelancers and sole proprietors. I highly recommend using Excel or a spreadsheet to manually record your Forecast Budget for the coming month and using your calendar application to remind you of the due dates.

If you need more robust budgeting capabilities, consider upgrading to QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced, which offers built-in budgeting features. These versions allow you to create budgets, track against them, and generate reports.

Furthermore, you can also consider checking out this article to learn about Schedule C categories form to report your self-employed income and expenses like credit card bills and more.

You can always leave a reply if you have additional concerns besides budgeting in QBSE. I'm ready to help.
