I'll add info about QuickBooks' legitimate emails and how we notify you about account status.
The QuickBooks email domain that will send you the status of your account should come from an email address that ends with @intuit.com, @e.intuit.com, and or intuit.com.
Also, we won't provide a specific contact number to call for account status correction. You can only get a scheduled callback once you reach us via the Help icon in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
Since you received an email about your account being terminated, you can check out this link to see if this email is reported by other customers: Security notices.
If you can't find a similar email and suspect it is a fake or phishing, you can go to the Contact Us section and click the Report a fake email (or phishing) tab to create a report from this page: Intuit Online Security Center.
You can also reach the dedicated QBO Care Team to check your account status and help you determine if the email you received is fake or phishing. Here's how:

Thank you for this information. This is the second time I have received an email posing as QuickBooks stating that my account will be terminated. The most recent is from an email ending with [removed]. They are requesting that I call [removed] to correct the problem. Does any of this sound legitimate?

@Bryan_M and @Archie_B , Have you ever heard of Phishing? Maybe you should look into it before you keep telling QB customers that yours are the ONLY emails ending a certain way.
A LOT of us have received emails ending the way you say the "legitimate" emails from QB will end. GUESS WHAT?? They are ALL scams!!! PHISHING EMAILS!!
LEARN, before you spout anymore nonsense about "legitimate" emails.
