I have the Quickbooks Self Employed Tax Bundle. I'm pretty sure I wasn't charged to file on Turbotax last year, but it's charging me this year. Is there a code to enter?

Ensure that your TurboTax charges align with what’s included in the QBSE Tax Bundle. The bundle covers TurboTax Self-Employed and one state filing. If you're being charged for TurboTax Premium, it's worth revisiting the specifics of your bundle and discussing with our support why the Premium version is being recommended for your tax situation.

For promotional codes, it would be best to contact QBSE Support, as they have the right tools to clarify your codes and billing.

This happened to me this year too and I just realized it's because it upgraded me (without me asking) to the Live Premium. I never used any of the live features, nor did I request it. But it's wanting me to pay $129. I have been using the Quickbooks Self-employed Turbo tax bundle for years with no issues until this year. Super frustrating. It will be extra annoying if I have to go in and clear my entire return and start over just to not be charged.

First off, please note that QBSE doesn't upgrade automatically. You still need to follow some steps for you to upgrade this. Thus, I will route you to our customer support to check your account internally and conduct further investigation if needed.

1. From the Help icon, click Contact Us.
2. Enter "talk to a human" then hit Continue.
3. Finally, choose a way you want to connect with us.
