I'm trying to update my "Work Info" for invoices. When I create a new invoice, I update my address. That seems to reflect only in that invoice. New ones show old data.

I want the changes I make in Invoices > Edit work info to reflect in all invoices moving forward.

You're absolutely right, Rodrigo. Updates to the Work info section currently apply only to the specific invoice being edited.

It would definitely be more convenient if those changes were carried over automatically to all future invoices. While the system currently works as designed, you can continue editing your address each time you create an invoice.

Thanks for the response. But other documentation suggests that editing my work info will be reflected elsewhere. When I go into "Edit work info" it says: "Changes made here will update your work information everywhere."

Other community posts also suggest the same. It's a bug.

I appreciate you for bringing this to our attention, rodrigo.

To ensure this gets properly addressed, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed phone support team for more detailed troubleshooting and resolution.

Here's how:

  1. In the upper right corner, select the (?) Help icon beside the Assistant tab.
  2. Click the Contact Us option below.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern and select Continue.
  4. Pick either Chat or Callback.

In the meantime, I suggest manually editing the address each time you send an invoice to your customer. Although this requires a bit of additional effort, it will keep your invoices accurate.

This thread will remain open if you have any further questions or requests.
