Yes, Geetika. You can subscribe to QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advanced and contact our Live Support Team to switch to your QBO Plus subscription. Let me guide you with the details.

To upgrade your subscription, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Make sure your payment info is up to date.
  4. In the QuickBooks Online section, select Upgrade your plan.
  5. Click Choose plan.
  6. Follow the on-screen steps to upgrade your plan.

You can now import your AP bills by going to the Gear icon and selecting Import data. Then, choose Bills.

If you switch back to QBO Plus from Advanced, you'll be prompted to make a call for further guidance. Refer to this article for details: Upgrade or downgrade your product's edition.

On top of that, you can pull up the Accounts payable aging summary or Accounts payable aging detail reports to gain insights about your unpaid bills grouped by days past due. Check out this article for guidance: Run a report in QuickBooks Online.

Also, you can partner with the QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted team to help you optimize your workflows, seamlessly import bulk data, or unlock the full potential of QuickBooks’ advanced features. Our specialists are here to empower you with efficient solutions that drive results.

So if I subsequently switch back to QBO Plus Subscription, I will still have the access to 'Bills' for recording AP Invoices manually?

Thanks for following up with the Community, Geetika-Arora.

You can import and enter bills with a QuickBooks Online Plus subscription. I'd recommend importing no more than 100 bills at a time. Initially, you'll want to know what you can import.

Here's a list of what can be imported:

  • Multicurrency is supported.
  • Bills can be imported with multiple line items, or as a total value for each bill.
  • Your sales tax codes are mapped, so you won't need to change them to QBO sales tax code formats before importing.

The first steps will be prepping your CSV (or Excel) file. The following columns are mandatory:

  • Bill no.
  • Supplier
  • Bill Date
  • Due Date
  • Account
  • Line Amount
  • Line Tax Code

You'll be able to map each of your column headings to bill fields during the import process. There's also an example of a data file available for you to download.

Next, you can upload your CSV file.

You can also enter bills manually if necessary.

Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a wonderful Tuesday!
