I was using self employed quickbooks mobile app to enter receipts but it no longer works??

We've got some troubleshooting steps for you to enter receipts in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile application, frontera8.

 

When the app's storage data is almost at its limit, it causes odd behavior when entering or attaching expense receipts in the QBSE mobile app. To resolve this, we can delete the cache from your application to use it again with a clean slate and all of its capabilities at your convenience. To clear the app's cache files, here's how:

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Go to Help & Feedback at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Reset App Data. Then, click Refresh.

 

For Android devices:

 

  1. Go to the More Options  menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Tap Refresh Data, and then click Yes.

 

Once done, close and reopen the mobile app and enter expense receipts again.

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions menu and select the Plus (+) sign.
  2. Tap Snap receipt.
  3. Take a photo of the receipt, or select the photo icon to upload an image.

 

For Android devices:

 

  1. Click the menu ☰ icon.
  2. Go to the Transactions menu and select the Plus (+) sign.
  3. Select Snap receipt.
  4. Take a photo of the receipt, or select the photo icon to upload an image.

Also, I'd suggest restarting your phone. If you continue to get the same result, uninstall and reinstall the application to start fresh. This article is for QBO, but the same principles apply.
