I have software that generates IIF files to import both new customers and financial transactions. So far the only document I've found describing field size limits is this one but it doesn't mention the billing (or shipping) address fields. It does refer to "Notes in Shipping/Billing Address" with a limit of 41 characters. Is this the address line size limit? Is there somewhere else I should have found this information? Thanks in advance.

I appreciate you searching for an answer to your concern, @ivordurham.
The article you've searched is for the character limitations of each field. Thus, it doesn't involve the size limit on the billing address field. Currently, there isn't an option to change or adjust the sizes of the field.
I can see that this option is beneficial to you and your company. For now, I encourage submitting feedback directly to our product engineers. They may look into this suggestion and consider adding the option in the future update. To send feedback, you can follow the steps below:

I'll grant you that "character limitations" is a weird title, but then it's an Intuit post, so if you don't understand what the post contains (you appear not to), perhaps it needs a better title.
The post contains exactly what the OP is looking for and exactly what you say it doesn't involve, for some fields, but it only includes a few fields instead of a complete list. Did you even bother to click on the link and read it?
In what way does the post not cover field-length limits? They sure look like field-length limits to me, even though someone at Intuit thinks they should be called "character limitations", which technically describes something else:
