IIF Import grayed out in QB for Mac 2019

We use QB for Mac 2019 and want to import IIF files containing credit card expense transactions that are generated from Ramp. But the Import IIF selection in our QB is grayed out, even with an admin login. Is there something special we need to do to enable IIF imports?

IIF Import grayed out in QB for Mac 2019

Hey there, @Anonymous.

It's great to see you back in the Community. Let's work together to get this option available to you in your account again.

Using the Verify and Rebuild tool can help resolve this problem. It can fix common data issues and errors that are occurring in the system. Review this guide for the instructions on how to use this tool:

Verify and rebuild data in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac

Please don't forget to let us know how this goes and if it works for you. I'll be back around shortly!

We did recently rebuild and verify, so that should not be the cause.

Even if there was something in the data needing rebuilding, could that really prevent a menu pick in the QB Mac program itself from being available when QB is otherwise running just fine?

If you are running QuickBooks in multiuser mode try running it in Single user admin mode and see if it is available then.
