Importing Tags

Hello,

 

I need to import data with tags on a monthly basis.  It would be best to use an importer tool, so it can be categorized in excel/csv first.   Currently the information is auto importing into Banking and categorized as Sales/Service from Paypal.  

I cannot seem to find an importer tool that has the option to map tags.  

Any recommendations?

As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to see the tags associated with your transactions upon importing it.

Importing Tags

I have now learned, since QB doesn't allow importing of tags even the 3rd party apps won't work.  I have not been able to find a work around to import tags for the Paypal Connect app.   Right now I'm manually importing Paypal bank information, and then have several rules set to add tags before accepting the transactions.   This is for sure not efficient or convenient, especially for clients with hundreds of paypal transactions a month that need various tags.

I understand the importance of importing tags to QuickBooks Online. However, as mentioned by my colleague above, there isn't an integrated way to see the tags associated with your transactions upon importing it.

And 15 months after you submitted this request to your development team have you moved it forward?? Or is this inefficiency still there??

 

if anyone has a solution to importing tags with transactions in QBO please share. It seems nothing has improved or changed.
