Importing Time Entries Using Spreadsheet Synch

Hi All!

I am trying to use Spreadsheet Synch to import time entries and the Service Field is not showing, which means I need to manually update all of the time entries.  This is cumbersome at best.  I have tried all of the "fixes" that google search provided me to no avail.

We do NOT have payroll or QBTime.

There does not seem to be any other way to upload other than Spreadsheet Synch.

Thoughts?  Solutions?  Anyone else with this issue?

Kristal

Importing Time Entries Using Spreadsheet Synch

Hello there, Kristal.

I understand the importance of having a convenient way to upload your data and appreciate your efforts in addressing the missing Service Field.

To address this, ensure that Service Items are properly created within QuickBooks. Once done, close and reopen Spreadsheet Sync to refresh and sync any updates or changes made in QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Live Support team. They have the tools to identify the cause of this problem and provide a tailored resolution to ensure smooth importing. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to the Help icon.
  2. In the Search tab, select Contact Us.
  3. Share your concern, then click Continue.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us.

If you have additional concerns, reply below. We’re here to help.

Importing Time Entries Using Spreadsheet Synch

I reached out to support and was told that Intuit doesn't support that right now; the field that needs to be there for correct recordation of time entries.  I am issuing feedback via the platform per the representative's instruction, but let me just say it is pretty unreasonable to limit the way folks can get information into QBO (ONLY being able to use Spreadsheet Synch) and then it not function properly.

I used to be a big proponent of Intuit - I am rethinking this due to a few issues I've had with the platform updates.

@KristalKeever

You can use a 3rd party importer tool as a workaround.
