Installing/Adding Adobe Fonts in QuickBooks Desktop 2023

I need to add a couple of Adobe fonts (Trojan Sans and Freight Sans) to QuickBooks so that they appear on the drop-down list of available fonts for reports and for templates (such as invoicing) so that we can be aligned with our new branding identity that embraces these two fonts.

In the absence of the ability to install additional fonts (from Adobe), where can I get a report/printout of all the built-in available fonts in our version of QuickBooks (desktop 2023 Premier Plus Pro), so that our graphic designer can make a selection of the built-in available fonts that most closely align with our new default fonts we are using in all other software programs?

Thanks.

Meredith

P.S. I know HOW and WHERE to change a font for reports and templates; I'm asking how to ADD specific Adobe fonts to the drop-down list of available fonts in QuickBooks.

Installing/Adding Adobe Fonts in QuickBooks Desktop 2023

Thanks for the detailed information you've laid out regarding your required template fonts and needed report, Meredith. I'm here to answer them for you one by one.

Adding Adobe fonts to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Templates is not an option in the system. We can only use the default fonts provided by the program.

As a workaround, you can look for a third-party app that supports the font that you wish to use. Then, integrate it into QBDT to utilize it on your QuickBooks templates. You can browse on our app store website to find the platform that would suit your needs: Apps for QuickBooks Desktop

On the other hand, we don't have a specific report that provides the list of available fonts in QBDT. However, you can navigate to the Font dropdown on the templates you're accessing. Then, manually review each font's appearance by clicking it and referring to the Sample field:

  1. Double-click the template.
  2. Click the Change Font button.
  3. Input the Font name in the designated field or choose from the dropdown list.
  4. Review its appearance from the Sample field.

Please know that your product recommendations matter to us. With that, you can submit a feature request to add the font type and its report to our Developer Team. Doing so would enlighten them on what aspects they need to implement in the program for the benefit of every user.

Here's how:

  1. Open your QuickBooks company file. Then go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Send Feedback Online and then Product Suggestion.
  3. Choose the Product Area of your suggestion.
  4. Enter your feature suggestion in the designated field and complete the form accordingly.
  5. Once done, hit Send Feedback.

I'm also adding this link that could help you once you encounter problems while handling your templates in QBDT: Fix common issues when you use and customize templates.

Please know that I'm always prepared to lend a hand. If you require more assistance managing your templates and reports or need help handling company data, drop by again on this thread. I'll ensure you're taken care of.
