We just installed a new computer.  Got everything moved over except my Intuit Data is not showing up.  How do I get my back up set back up?

Intuit Data Backup

Hi, @Wanttotalktoaperson.

Thanks for reaching out in the Community. I'm here to lend a hand in setting up your Intuit Data Protect in QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. From QuickBooks, go to the File menu, then select Back Up Company.
  2. Click the Set Up/Activate Online Backup.
  3. In the Intuit App Center window, sign in using your Intuit Account credentials. This is the account you created when you subscribed to the service.
  4. On the Intuit Data Protect Diagnose window, select Continue when all the statuses show Complete. A confirmation screen pops up if there are some previously backed up files. Select Yes if you wish to recover your files or No to proceed.
  5. In the next window, select all the files you want to back up, then select Continue. Choose the other folders you want to back up on the next window, then select Continue.
  6. Set up a schedule to back up the files, then Continue.
  7. On the Notification Email settings window, assign an e-mail address to be notified.
  8. Once a message saying the IDP setup is successful, select OK.

This should help point you in the right direction.
