The ability to create a profile to handle payroll and control access to sensitive information is currently unavailable. I understand that having this option is important for you to save time and focus on other duties. I'd suggest adding users to the only trusted employee of yours and set up Payroll Only access. They'll have access to employee information and process payroll, but they won't be able to make any changes.
Here's how:
- Login to Intuit Online Payroll for Accounting Professionals.
- Select the client's name from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Setup tab.
- Choose Payroll Account Access.
- Hit Add a User.
- Enter the user's information, select the box to allow payroll account access, and click Ok.
- Our system will email a temporary password to the new user.
- The user can now access their account from the www.managepayroll.com website. Upon initial login, they'll be prompted to change the temporary password to a permanent password.
