We have monthly invoices emailed on the first of the month, and today (Aug. 1), we did not get copied on five invoices. I went into QBO and sent a couple manually, but I still did not get a copy even though I got the popup that says it was sent.
We can certainly download and email to a number of clients, but for various reasons it's always been better if those emails come from Quickbooks. The online help referred to an area under "Dashboard" called "Tasks" where you can see email delivery errors, however, under Dashboard there is only "Home", "Cash Flow" and "Planner".
Can anyone confirm if there is a current issue with Quickbooks emails? Or where that delivery errors link has moved to, so I can investigate further about our own emails. Thank you.
Let me share info about the invoice delivery issue and direct you to the best help to fix this, Andrew.
Here's how you can reach out our Support Team:
If you want to let your customers pay the invoice online, you can send an online invoice. Check this article for more details: Take and process payments with QuickBooks Payments.
I appreciate your patience while we're working on this. I'm here whenever you need help with managing your invoices in QuickBooks.
There's been an issue all morning... @AbegailS_ didn't look very hard.
I am having this issue also. I have two invoices of 75 that did not get sent. I have tried to resend but they still will not go through. I saw a message that there was an issue with the subject line, so I changed it and they still won't send. The subject was the same format as all of the other invoices. I have confirmed that it is not an issue with the customer's email.
QuickBooks Investigation Team is working on the investigation: INV-109166 (Unable to send Sales Form emails to ALL customers, emails not received).
I'm having the same issue... Is there a ticket open with support?
You're right, rgsitconsulting. There's an investigation about being unable to send forms and receive emails via QBO, and I'll share more about it with everyone.
Please know that the INV-109166 focuses on sales forms and has been closed. However, we opened a new report (INV-109305) concerning the disability to send out emails on Invoices, Estimates, or other Expense forms to your customers.
With this, I recommend contacting our experts to be added to the list of affected users and receive email updates when fixes are available. Rest assured that our software engineers are committed to resolving this promptly. Follow the steps below:
Once everything's settled, you can refer to this article to personalize the template of your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
