Invoice Format

Dear Team,

 

After back-up QB Enterprise Desktop Software, the Invoice Date & Format got changed.

 

What is the reason for this Change?

 

How to fix it in QB?

 

 The Created Date & Last edited Date is 12/31/69.

 

Please help ASAP!

Did you restore the backup file on the same computer or a new one?

SAME COMPUTER BACK-UP DONE.

 

Please provide solution for Same Computer and Different Computer Back-up errors.

Allow me to join in this conversation and share a solution to your backup concern. 

 

Creating a backup doesn't directly affect the format or details of an invoice.

Based on your screenshot, it's possible that someone user who has an admin access to your company file accidentally made these changes. 


For now, you'll have to manually edit the transaction and notify your customer about the changes after running the backup. 

We can also check for possible minor data issues in your company file that might triggered the problem. Let's run the Verify and Rebuild Data tools to identify its cause and fix it by rebuilding the data. Here's how:

  1. Choose Window then select Close All.
  2. Go to the File menu and click Utilities.
  3. Select Verify Data.
  4. If a data damage is detected, go back to the File menu and select Utilities.
  5. Click Rebuild Data.
