Buy nowQuickBooks Online has changed the Subject Line of the emails sent for new invoices, and ignores our Default selection.
Our DEFAULT selection has had this format for years:
"Invoice xxxxx from ECS Distribution"
Even though we have selected a specific default subject line, QuickBooks online started populating the Subject Line field with this new format:
"New payment request from ECS Distribution, LLC - invoice xxxxx"
The attached screenshot shows QBO acknowledges the default Subject Line, but is still populating the Subject Line with something else.
Does anyone know how to force QBO to revert to the Default Subject Line we've always used?
Thank you

@kennedy442 Nothing specific comes to mind, though I expect it'll involve turning off the AI assistant in some manner.
Or stale cookies.
OK... how do I turn off AI assistant?
I never turned it on, yet QBO is constantly sending pop-ups from AI generated nonsense.
The AI from QuickBooks has never had a worthwhile thing to say. It is a nuisance.
I appreciate for sharing your screenshot with us, Kennedy. I can see that the default option to choose your preferred subject line is available, but it still prompts you to use the new one. Regarding this, we are going to send feedback about it.
By sending feedback, our product engineers will check this issue to understand why this is happening. Our team continually works to improve our product and enhance the experience for customers like you.
Here’s how to send feedback on the Invoice page:

The problem is not that it "prompts" you to use the new AI generated one, it is that it is now DEFAULTING to the AI generated one, and forcing you to manually choose to use your defined default message and subject.
And worse? If you click on an arrow next to invoice from the invoices screen and choose "Send" it sends the invoice with the AI Generated subject and message with no input from you at all, completely ignoring your specified defaults. This is unacceptable. AI generated content should always be opt-in, not 10 extra clicks opt-out every single time. What is the point of us defining our preferred default subject line and messages if you're just going to ignore it?
I agree - this is a poorly QA/QC release which adds an additional manual step to change the Subject line, when the prior default is clearly selected in settings as the default message. Yet another instance of devs thinking AI everywhere is somehow an improvement to our workflows.
