I can share some information about the invoice list in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
By default, invoices are sorted in numerical order. However, they're separated by their status. See the attached screenshot below for your visual guide.
You can sort your them depending on your choice either in ascending or descending order by clicking on the header column for the invoice page.
I suggest pulling up the Invoice List report. It shows a numerical order based on the transaction date.
Here's how:
- Click Reports.
- In the Find report by name field, enter Invoice List in the search field.
To give you a glance of the status of your sales forms, check out the View sales transactions for additional information.
