Invoices will not save or send

Hi, @precision1maintenance. Invoices not saving or sending could be caused by issues like internet connectivity, cached files, or incomplete invoice details, such as a missing email address.

Here’s how you can fix it:

  1. Check Your Internet Connection: Since QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is cloud-based, it requires a stable and active internet connection to save or send invoices.
  2. Clear Cached Files: Cached files storing old or corrupted data can interfere with QBSE. Clear your browser’s cache or switch to a supported browser, like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari for Mac, to check if the issue is related to your browser.
  3. Verify Invoice Details: Make sure all required invoice fields are filled in, including the customer name dropdown, products and services, and the amount. Once these are completed, click the Email button to fill the "To" field. Enter the customer’s email address in the "To" field to send the invoice, or use the dropdown beside the Email button to save it.
