If you’re only seeing boxes on your end, it could be that something is causing the issue and unable you see the icons accordingly. Thus, I recommend performing browser troubleshooting steps. Doing so will enable us to eliminate common errors. It also helps improves the performance of the application and provides a secure working environment.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:

- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift +N
If you’re now able to see the icons properly, clear the browser's cache to keep this from happening again. Too much-cached data can slow down QuickBooks and cause unusual behaviors. You can also opt for other supported browsers if you have one.
