Yes, the email you've provided is part of our valid email address, Kenebb. I'll provide further information about its legality.

When receiving communications about your QuickBooks account status, it's crucial to verify the legitimacy of the sender. Authentic emails regarding your account will originate from official Intuit domains.

Specifically, you should expect these messages to come from email addresses ending with one of the following:

  1. @intuit.com
  2. @e.intuit.com
  3. intuit.com
  4. @notifications.intuit.com

However, since you have received an email regarding your email modification, I highly recommend you get in touch with our QuickBooks Support team. They provide real-time assistance that will be beneficial for you to further investigate and verify what the email was all about.

Here's how you can get in touch with them:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.
  2. Select (?) Help in the upper right corner of your screen.
  3. Type a question or topic you need to help with, then select Contact a human.

You can check this page to learn about the availability of our Live Support team so you can choose a time that suits your schedule: Support Hours.

Moreover, you can refer to this article to further guide you on how to identify all the official emails used by Intuit from the fake ones: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.

Furthermore, if you received a suspicious email that isn't listed from the official lists of our Intuit domain, you can go to the Contact Us section and click the Report a fake email (or phishing) tab to create a report from this page: Intuit Online Security Center.

@keneb  One important thing to keep in mind is that e-mail addresses aren't always what they appear to be.

An old tactic for scam artists is to have the name appear as an e-mail address, effectively masking their true e-mail address.

So, you'd see something like (Intuit E-mail) for the sender name, but if you hover over the name without clicking on it, it'd pop up the details including some gibberish e-mail address.
