No... they do everything they can to not talk to you. 
Ive done their steps to chat multiple times over the past 6 days... and still get no one!

I am trying to get hold of someone and have a "live" conversation on "withheld" deposits. Every time I go to "help" then enter the info, then "chat"... it tells me someone will be with me within 5 minutes. 

Then the chat box disappears, no one messages me, no one calls me, no one emails me. 

There is no way to contact a live person and have a conversation. 

We are, like many, a struggling small business. And not being able to communicate with someone about why we aren't getting our money is very, very frustrating.

Hello ChristopherFromTexas!


I understand that you need to talk to our Customer Support Team. Aside from chat, you can also reach out to them over the phone. 


The new "Help" menu interface: 

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and choose the Talk to a human option (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter a short description of the concern.
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us.
  4. Tap Let’s talk then select Get a call.

For the old "Help" menu:

  1. Click the Help icon, then the Contact Us button.
  2. Enter a short description of the issue in the What can we help you with box.
  3. Proceed with the Let's talk button.
  4. Select Get a call.

Also, are you referring to customer payments through QuickBooks Payments? If so, there are times that the funds will be put on hold if our system detected an issue.


There should be an email sent to you with the instructions on how to fix it. Usually, it'll require additional info to complete the verification so the funds will be released.
