Buy nowHello, We are a small irrigation company that converted from QB desktop to QB online Essentials. In the desktop we utilized custom fields for our customers (shareholders) containg number of shares, share certificate, purchase date, ... QBO Essentials does not support custom fields for customers. I would like to use the customer's note field to hold this information.
Is there a way to batch load this custom data into the customer note's field? I really don't want to have to type this data in for 300 customers (shareholders)?

We see that adding batch load notes for customers would be helpful to your business. I'm here to share some information about this.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), there's no option to add batch load notes for multiple customers. We need to do it manually for your customers. Feel free to follow the steps below:
While this isn't an option right now, I recommend submitting a suggestion from your QBO company. That way, our engineers will know your needs and can consider adding such a report in future updates.
You can also try finding a third-party app that can provide the report you need. Simply click the Apps menu on the left-hand side and use related keywords to find one.
