QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't permanently delete an account; instead, it makes it inactive, Kristie6040. And yes, there is a way to restore it by reactivating it.
Here's how:
- Go to the left menu and choose My apps.
- Select Accounting, then Chart of Accounts.
- Click the Gear Icon (⚙) near the printer icon.
- Check Include inactive to view inactive accounts.
- Locate the account you'd like to restore and select Make Active.
Keep in mind that reactivating an account won't automatically restore its deleted transactions or adjust any journal entries created to balance your accounts.
