Is there an answer to the question that has been asked 100+ times? How can I make bulk updates to my customers? Is there an import option (I am not paying to use another application). We have 1,000+ customers and it would be a complete waste of time and efficiency to manually update customers individually (one at a time). Please help. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this with us, Woodbrier13323.
I'm here to address your concern about updating multiple customers in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Customers are set up individually, therefore, they can only be updated one at a time. The option to bulk update customers is a good way to save time. However, this is feature is unavailable.

Hi
As of July 2022, is there now a way to do this mass update? Still struggling to do manual updates in QBO

Hi,
you can develop a similar system like how the products can be updated in bulk with matching names. Customer with same names in the new import file can be matched and updated too, similar to what is done in products. Hope your developers can start working on this.
Thanks

Unfortunately, making suggestions/providing feedback doesn't help as QBO is a dysfunctional program lacking the basic functions of the desktop version. This was understandable when QBO was new but it's been years. Very sad as it used to be the best product on the market for the small to medium user.
