Am on premier, R16 (yes I know it's outdated) and have downloaded R17 update. Not yet installed it. Getting some info from the web, official page has been removed (no longer supported thus we won't tell you what we did back then). Some info points towards an 'end of life' update, possibly with date the software stops working???
Why are you tempted to upgrade to R17? Imho, as long as your program is doing well to date, you have no compelling reason to upgrade. Unless you need to reinstall and don't have the installer files for older Release versions.

The oldest one we got from our official page is for the 2019 version only. We no longer have updated release information from our website for QuickBooks older than the one mentioned.
Here's the link: Release notes for QuickBooks Desktop 2019.
The downloaded update (R17) is more about the service discontinuation. Access to add-on services is available until May 31, 2022, for QuickBooks Desktop for Windows 2019.
I've attached an article you can use to learn about the Disco Policy and the upgrade process in QuickBooks: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy.
