Is there any way to add columns to the Build Assembly template?

I would like to add a couple of columns to the Build Assembly template that will show up on the printout for our shop to use. We're trying to use quickbooks to reduce paperwork and would like some columns that the shop guys can have to mark off when they are finished with a process. They will be hand checking these columns.

Yes, there's a way to add columns to your Build Assembly template. You can follow the steps below to complete the process:

 

  1. On the Build Assembly window, click Customize.
  2. Select Customize Data Layout.
  3. Go to Columns tab.
  4. You can add and edit the columns from there.
  5. Enable the option for Screen and Print.
  6. Once done, hit OK.

 

You'll see the customized column when building and printing the assembly.

I do not see an option to add any new columns.
