You and your clients are both using QB Desktop, correct? What kind of "transfer" do you ask?
No the client doesn't use QB, their other accountant did.

If their accountant is using QB Desktop and your client is not performing anything on their end, their accountant owns their company's file. You must ask your client to ask their former accountant to give them the file. Intuit will not interfere with this issue.
I have the file on flash drive. I just need them switched to me. That accountant has had some major health issues and someone was helping get the info to the clients.
I am confused. What is the problem? You can restore the file on your QB Desktop locally. If you don't have the password to open the file, you can try to reset it. Or do you need to transfer the Primary Admin of the CAMPS from the former accountant to access the license code?
