Buy nowQBO is so slow in posting. Use to post within 2 seconds, now it takes 10 to 12 seconds
Also, I’ve completed a transaction in Vendor and posted it, I have to select vendor to the left to get back to that vendor. Is this normal or can it go back to that vendor to verify the posting?
Thanks for posting here in the Community space, @cmumper. I'm here to ensure the issue when posting the vendor's transaction will be sorted out.
QuickBooks typically loads the most used pages in about 10 seconds. However, this can vary based on the operating system’s compatibility, the device's processing power, available memory (RAM), and your internet connection's bandwidth. You can verify if your browser meets the system requirements and run a Google Speed Test to confirm the bandwidth or speed of your internet connection.
Moreover, it's also possible that this issue may be related to your browser's cache. While cache helps load web pages faster, it can accumulate over time and cause problems, like slow loading times when posting vendor transactions. To keep the program running smoothly so you can get back on track, consider opening your account in a private (incognito) window to clear this up.
You can use these keyboard shortcuts to save time:
If the issue persists, return to your browsing history and clear its cache. Otherwise, use other supported browsers to help narrow down the cause of this behavior.
On the other hand, the need to select the vendor again after completing a transaction to verify the posting is how the program is currently designed. This helps minimize the risk of errors and ensures that the transaction is properly recorded and associated with the correct vendor.

Actually, @AdonL It's the new "normal" that we have ALL been complaining about since April or May.
It has NOTHING to do with browser or cache files or anything. It is ALL QB.
