What is the proper report that would reflect
I created a a purchase order. This are items that are subject to be on our inventory .
I looked at inventory stock status by site and under the on PO the items do not show.
Since we do not have a site item on the purchase order entry, question i have is how is this report updated and why some items are showing and some don't like the example i describe above?
If this is not a good report, what would be a good report reflecting qty on hand, on sales order, on purchase order , available?
Thank you,
Florina

In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), we can pull up the Inventory Stock Status by Item to show the on-hand items, sales orders, and purchase orders.
Here's how:
1. Go to the Reports menu.
2. Hover over Inventory, and then choose Inventory Stock Status by Item.
3. Click the Customize Report button at the top.
4. Click the Display tab.
5. Under the COLUMNS, Select the Item, Pref Vendor, On Hand, and On PO to put a checkmark.
6. Hit OK once done.
