Thank you for raising your concern here, @Ryan177.
The option to hide specific payroll information in the search bar menu is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. It's important to note that all transactions, including payroll details, are visible through the search bar for full transparency and straightforward access to all transaction data.
However, if you're interested in having this feature included in the software, I can help you submit feedback to our Product Development team. They will consider your suggestions and look into potentially integrating them into the system.
Here's how:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- On the top right corner, click the Gear icon.
- Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
- Enter your comments or product suggestions.
- Once ready, click Next to submit feedback.
You can track your feature requests through QuickBooks Online Feature Requests.
Additionally, you can check this article for more details regarding user roles: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.
Moreover, you can make use of the audit log in QBO to monitor user activities and identify who has made modifications to your books.
Please keep us informed if you continue to have concerns about your user roles. We're here to assist you and would be happy to help!
