Join nowHave QB Desktop-Mac 2016, exported for accountant to QB for Windows. Computer crashed-loosing data-no back up. Got migrated admin. version from accountant and have been using it that way. Now want to update to QB Desktop-Mac 2019 but don't want to go thru migrated admin. on my mac. Need to know how to install my new 2019 Desktop for Mac disk and get all my current work from the migrated admin file.

Converting your QuickBooks Mac file to the Windows version and vice versa is possible through round tripping. This process is used to allow your accountant to make changes to your company file if they are using a different database or QuickBooks program.

Thank you Jen. I will get a copy up to my accountant as she has the windows version and have her do the steps you listed for me on the windows side. I will install my new 2019 mac version on the and await her conversion.
