Migration support from data services is taking forever

I have been trying to migrate from QB Desktop for Mac to Quickbooks online. Once I did the migration, some of the accounts in the online version were off by hundreds of thousands of dollars. QB support had me upload my exported file for data services to address the issue. That was nine days ago! I have not been able to continue using QB Desktop because everything has been frozen in time since I handed off the exported file. And the online accounts are still out of sync. The most frustrating part is every time I contact support, I've been told my file should be ready "by the end of today." I've been told this on Wednesday and Friday of last week, and Monday, Tuesday and today of this week. All of my finances for my business are at a standstill, and no one at Quickbooks seems concerned or able to do anything about. I've been told that the some of the problems are also related to a bigger issue between Desktop for Mac and QB Online. So why not tell me that from the start? Why not let me go another month with Desktop while these issues are sorted out? This is killing me not being able to keep track of my finances for this duration!! Is anyone else having this issue?

Another option, consider purchasing a 3rd party conversion service.

The paid solutions are always better to opt. Search for a good one.

Thank you @MadelynC! I did receive a notice from Data Services shortly before your post that my migration was complete -- and it was! There are just one or two small things that are slightly not aligned, as some of the verbiage said might happen. Thank you for the resources you mentioned as those will be helpful as I dive in and get familiar with using Quickbooks Online. Much appreciated!!
