Hello,
I have QB's desktop 2019 Premier MGF. I use a laptop when I travel, I just did a backup of my desktop to transfer to my laptop. My laptop said there was not enough space so I deleted a lot of things and some of the QB's files were included! They were in the Recycle bin and then deleted. I did the transfer to my laptop and it does not have any QB's activity after January 6th. What can I do to restore the entire file from my desktop to my laptop? Please help if you can, thank you!!!!

Install QB Desktop license on your laptop. Open QuickBooks on your desktop and secure a backup file (i.e QBB). Copy the backup file to your laptop, open QuickBooks, and restore the backup file locally.
You must use a third party tool to recover files deleted from recycle bin. I couldn't recommend a specific app, but you can use their trial version.
Thank you for your reply. My desktop version is complete, no missing files. Isn’t there a way to copy my desktop version, in it’s entirety, over to my laptop? It wouldn’t seem right that I couldn’t do this. Could I create it as a new company, if need be? Thank you!!
