Modifying existing estimate cost column

Is there a way to modify an existing estimate cost column all at once?  Right now, if I have multiple items that have recently increased or decreased in cost, I need to go line by line to change the cost.

Modifying existing estimate cost column

Modifying the existing estimate cost column in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is a great functionality, MCTSR03.

Currently, QBDT only allows users to edit the amount line by line to update the total cost of the estimate. The ability to increase or decrease the entire cost column is unavailable.

While this feature is unavailable in QuickBooks, we would love to hear your suggestions about having this functionality and recommend submitting a feature request. It'll be shared with our Product Development Team to enhance your experience with the program.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help option.
  2. Choose the Send Feedback Online option.
  3. Select the Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window displays.
  4. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  5. Click the Send Feedback button.

Additionally, you can browse and bookmark this Accounts Receivable workflow article. It'll guide you in what to do after creating estimates and help you track other customer-related transactions.

Please let me know if you have more questions about managing your estimates or other sales transactions by clicking the Reply button. I'll be here to lend a hand. Keep safe always.
