Moving your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online is a breeze, @GANInc.
Here are the easy steps you can follow:
- First, ensure that your QuickBooks is updated to its latest release.
- Then, check if your company file isn’t too big to export.
- Once done, sign in as an admin to your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
- When opened, navigate to the Company menu, then select Export Company File to QuickBooks Online.
- Choose Start your export.
- Then, open a browser and sign in as an admin to your QuickBooks Online company.
- Click the Choose online company dropdown, and pick the QuickBooks Online company you want to be replaced by your company file.
- Tick Continue.
- Type the word Agree in the text field, then Replace.
- Hit Yes, go ahead and replace the data, then select Replace.
