My Google Calendar stopped integrating with QB.

Hello there, @hockettdockett. I've got here steps to ensure you'll be able to fix the integration between Google Calendar and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Possible that this may be a cache-related issue in your browser. It is one of its components that speeds up the loading process when accessing websites. However, there are times that it gets corrupted causing unexpected behaviors.

To confirm that this is the case, we can start by opening your QBO account in incognito mode. This is a private browser that doesn't store cache and will give you a clean slate to avoid issues. Below are the shortcut keys that you can use:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Microsoft Edge: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

Once signed in, click the calendar again to find the events. If you're able to do so, I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser to eliminate damaged files. If the same thing happens, I suggest using another supported browser or device to open your account.

However, if none of the steps works, I highly suggest contacting the Google Calendar support team. This way, they can further investigate what causes the events to disappear and will provide you with another set of troubleshooting steps to resolve it.

Additionally, here's a helpful resource that you can open to help modify your sales forms like invoices. To get started, check out this link: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Please get back here in this thread if you have any follow-ups about fixing the integration of the two programs. I'd also appreciate it if you can add updates on how the recommendation goes. I'm just around the corner and ready to help whenever needed. Have a good one and take care.

No luck with this fix. Multiple users and computers impacted. Is this being prioritised? Sorry it is an urgent one for us

If you’ve tried all the possible troubleshooting solutions outlined by my colleague above, I recommend reaching out to our Support Team. One of our representatives will pull up your account in a secure manner and investigate this issue further.

I am experiencing the same issue. QB is unable to search my calendar from the app. Something similar happened a year or so ago and the support team was finally able to get it working again. Maybe something to do with the latest google updates? Please fix it, I have month end billing coming up next week...

We wanted to let you know that Google Calendar integration is unfortunately unavailable in QuickBooks, jarosplumber. As an alternative, you can use a third-party app to continue syncing your calendar with QuickBooks. It offers similar functionality and helps maintain your workflow.

Here are the steps to ensure you can integrate apps in QuickBooks:

  1. In your account, navigate to the left-hand menu, scroll down, and select Apps.

  2. In the QuickBooks App Store, use the search bar to look for calendar integration tools.
  3. Click Browse categories to see available options and choose one that fits your needs.

QuickBooks has removed the Google calander add on, I believe. A bit frustrating as this is why I chose QuickBooks originally. I'm sure it's not available any more, there was an email a couple of months ago.

I completely understand how crucial the Google Calendar add-on is for managing your QuickBooks tasks, @WallyB. Don't worry; I have an alternative solution that will enable you to sync your calendar with the software seamlessly, allowing you to proceed without interruptions.

You can enhance your experience by integrating a third-party application that offers similar functionalities to Google Calendar. You can accomplish this by going to the Apps menu. This will allow you to explore and select the app that best suits your needs.

Here's how you can do it:

  1. Select Apps from the left menu of your interface.
  2. Click on Find apps to access the application marketplace.
  3. Search for a third-party calendar tool using the search bar. Alternatively, you can browse through various categories or industries to discover suitable options.

Is this a temporary problem that is being worked on?? I have scheduled ALL of my appointments through quickbooks/googlecalender integration for the last four years and this is highly disruptive and inconvenient! Why would they simply make integration unavailable?? Makes no sense...

UPDATE:

I made a huge stink about this calling useless customer service and posting on these ridiculous forums.  An agent from quickbooks called me a few months ago and i told her that i am cancelling my subscription because of this problem.  Magically my google calendar integration was working again the next day!  So, what does this tell us?  Quickbooks has removed google calendar integration and has the ability to turn it back on.  They are simply removing the integration on purpose probably with the intention of selling some other bs that does the same thing only not as well..  Anyways... after a few months of it working properly it has now stopped integrating again. Currently waiting on a customer service representative for 20+ minutes after speaking with a useless AI robot. Get it together quickbooks! Your customer service is infuriating.. and that saxophone on hold music... AAAAHHH it haunts my dreams. ZERO STAR RATING
