My invoices are not being emailed from the app. Even though it says they’ve been sent. They never arrive.

Emailed invoices seem to go out normally from my computer but not from the app.

Actually they are only going out part of the time from my desktop as well.

I understand how significant it is to have your invoices sent reliably, so let’s work together to get this sorted out. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can do to resolve the issue with invoices not being emailed from the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app:

 

  • Ensure that the customer's email address is entered correctly on the invoice. Sometimes, a typo or missing email address can prevent the email from being sent.
  • Have your customer check their Spam or Junk folder to make sure the invoice email isn't being filtered incorrectly.
  • Ensure that you’re using the latest version of the QuickBooks Online mobile app. Go to the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and check if there’s an update available for the app.
  • A weak or unstable internet connection can sometimes cause issues with sending invoices from the mobile app. Make sure your device has a strong Wi-Fi or data connection when sending invoices.
     

If you’re still having trouble, try clearing the cache of the QuickBooks app (for Android) or reinstalling the app (for both iOS and Android). This can help resolve any issues caused by stored data or app glitches.

For iOS: Tap and hold the QuickBooks app, select Delete App, then reinstall it from the App Store.

For Android: Go to Settings, Apps, then look for QuickBooks Online, then tap Clear Cache.
