My quickbooks Solopreneur says I can do cash deposits at all point atm but when I scan my card into the allpoint app it says it’s not available with my card…?

Hi, Breezy. Were you attempting to deposit money into your QuickBooks Checking account through the Allpoint ATM? The error may be related to compatibility with your financial institution or an issue on their end. 

 

I recommend reaching out to your bank or card provider to confirm whether they support integration with the Allpoint ATM network or if there’s any ongoing maintenance that's  causing this error.

 

In the meantime, you can deposit money into your QuickBooks Checking account using alternative methods. Mobile check deposits or transferring funds directly from an external bank account are great options. Here's how you can transfer money:

 

  1. Select Transfer then select Transfer money.
  2. Enter the amount you want to transfer.
  3. In the From ▼ dropdown, select your QuickBooks Checking account.
  4. In the To ▼ dropdown, select your connected bank account.
  5. Select Next.
  6. Select Finish transfer.

So even though I’m using my quickbooks “bank card” it’s going through my other bank institution to deposit cash into my quickbooks bank account?
And I tried to write a check from my bank to my quickbooks account and it wouldn’t take it. 
My bank does not allow quickbooks transfers, etc. But quickbooks should still take checks from those institutions so I’m not understanding why it wouldn’t allow the check deposit either?

We'll need to first link the external bank account to your QuickBooks Checking account to successfully add cash, breezycheezy.

 

Currently, there is no direct method to deposit cash into QuickBooks Checking account. However, we can use the Transfer feature as an efficient way to process cash payments. You can follow these steps to link your bank account and transfer the funds:

 

  1. Go to Lending & banking, then select QuickBooks Checking.
  2. Choose Transfer and then select Transfer Money.
  3. Select Add a Bank. Enter your bank name, account type, and routing number.
  4. When you're ready to connect, press the Next button.
  5. Go to Lending & banking, then QuickBooks Checking.
  6. Pick the Verify Bank and enter the two amounts deposited by QuickBooks. 
  7. Choose Confirm.
