My shipping manager keeps giving invalid password error since we upgraded to 2024

We recently upgraded to 2024 version of QB and when we try to add our account to the UPS shipping manager it gives error of invalid password.  There is nowhere on the shipping manager to enter a password. Can anyone help me out with this?

I recommend performing the Verify and Rebuild in your company file. This way, you can run a system checkup to help determine the root cause of the problem and fix it. These are the steps:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company.
  2. Click the Window menu and then select Close All.
  3. In the File menu and select Utilities.
  4. Once you're ready, click Verify Data.

We are currently in the process of switching providers for our Shipping functionality, HIpk01. Let me provide further information on this below.

 

Are you experiencing the "Account registration failed - Invalid or missing password" error with the UPS setup? If so, consider generating shipping labels directly on the UPS website for faster transactions and more detailed financial reports.

 

QuickBooks is transitioning to a new provider for the Shipping Manager module. The current Desktop version is not UPS-supported, preventing new connections. If you haven't set up shipping with your carrier, please wait for the new Shipping Manager launch in May.
