Thank you for dropping by here in the Community space.  I'm here to guide you on how you can get a copy of your W-2's. 

 

You can access the previously filed W-2s directly from your archived forms.

 

Here's how:

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Taxes.
  2. Go to the Payroll Tax tab.
  3. Go to the Filings tab.
  4. Scroll down and click Go to archived forms.

In QBO, you have to initiate a call or chat request to connect with our phone support team. To do so, refer to these steps:

 

  1. Click the Help menu and select the Search tab.
  2. Then, click Contact Us.
  3. From there, enter a brief description of your concern and select Continue.
  4. Next, choose either Get a callback or Start a message.

On the other hand, you can also contact them via a web browser.

Meanwhile, let's ensure you use the correct login credentials and choose the right QuickBooks Online account. These could be the reason you're unable to see your data. 

 

If the issue persists, I recommend logging into your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. It is a good place to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N 
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

 

Once signed in, check if you're able to view your data. If so, let's clear the browser's cache to ensure the program performs efficiently. Otherwise, you can use other supported browsers. They also provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks. 

 

If you're using the mobile app version, I suggest clearing the app data. These are junk files stored in the app that can cause unexpected behavior when performing tasks. There are two places to clear app data and remove cached data:

 

In the QuickBooks Online app:

 

  • Android: From More Options ⋮, select Settings, then click Refresh Data. Choose Yes.
  • iOS: Go to Menu ☰, Click Help & Feedback, and select Refresh Data. Then, click Refresh.

 

In your device Settings:

 

  • Android: Go to Settings, select Apps (varies by device), and choose the QuickBooks app from the list. Then, select Storage and select Clear data.
  • iOS: From your device's Settings, select Setting General iPhone Storage and choose the app. Then, select Offload App.

@Herm2   I'm assuming that since you have commented on a QBO thread, that you  use QBO.  

That said, you have to request a callback or chat.  

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
    • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
    • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
      • Start a chat with a support expert.
      • Get a callback from the next available expert.
      • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.
