New Desktop Install - Small blank window pops up

I just got a new computer and installed Quickbooks Pro 2016. Quickbooks works fine as far as I can tell, but I have an extra blank window pop up that I can't get rid of. If I close Quickbooks, it closes too. What is this box, and how to I get rid of it? It's driving me nuts!

I actually shut off some trackpad functions, and I think it went away. I didn't spend much time testing it before I did a repair on it just in case. I haven't seen the window since. One of the two procedures fixed my issue.
