SUMMER SAVINGS 90% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months* Ends June 27
Buy nowEvery time I create a new invoice (new style) the side menu pops up that shows where it be edited such as customization, payment options, design and automation. Is there a way to stop this from popping up with each new invoice or is this just standard for the new style invoice?
The company is constantly seeking ways to improve its products, @yorkiemom2.
Currently, stopping the pop-up where you can edit the transaction in the invoice new experience is unavailable. This is part of the update to let customers know they can customize their sales forms anytime. To temporarily remove the window, I'd suggest clicking the Close →.
I understand how inconvenient it is to be unable to stop the customization window. I'd recommend sending feedback to our product engineers. They can review your suggestions and consider adding them to future releases.

Are they going to give us an option to stop it from popping up? It is very annoying.

Well then that's not an improvement. The entire new invoice experience is a steaming mess. Hard to believe Intuit is foisting this on customers - that you'd even think it ready for anyone to actually use to run their business.
This is a horrible update to the software. It appears as though I have to indicate my payment options now on every invoice, even though I set the standards months ago in the account for payment options. This is extremely cumbersome to have to make sure every invoice now indicates its own payment options? I've used QuickBooks for over a decade and this is by far the most annoying update thus far.
